"Evolve with me"

(This song is meant to be about a trainer and their Pokemon, but really it can be for a child/parent or siblings or lovers or best friends. I just wrote it cause it was stuck in my head lol  think up what ever beat comes to mind xD )

On that very first day that I held you in my arms, I knew that you were special.

On that very first day, that you stood at my side, you took so many hits for me..

And then that day came when I had my mind set on what you'd be. But now I understand, that wasn't what was planned, but I intend to complete our life together.

I had a dream, but you gave me a heart to look in to, and yes it's true

I'm so proud of you, and all the things you do, and no matter what you evolve in to.. I'll always believe in you.


So many battles to be fought, but I know a team must be caught. But you have always been that one special pal, that never turned your back on me. Friends come and go, their emotions that show, that maybe I don't belong sometimes. But if I need a shoulder to cry on, I always belong with you right here.


So, when we've reached the end.. And it's time to part our ways. I can always look back, and maybe I'd see you, running right behind me. Yeah, we don't have to part if you just say so!
